Who We Are

Mission: To help people live well- living well can mean many things; from treatment or cure, to prevention and even end-of-life care.

Aurora Health Care is Wisconsin’s most comprehensive health system and the state’s largest private employer, serving over 1.2 million patients annually. We are committed to improving clinical quality, making care more efficient and affordable, and enhancing the patient experience.

Our integrated network includes 15 hospitals, primary and specialty care clinics, pharmacies, behavioral health services, labs, and home care through the Aurora Visiting Nurse Association. We lead in medical innovation, offering advanced treatments such as robotic surgery, eICU® Care, and all-digital diagnostics.

What We Do

Founded in 1984, Aurora Health Care has grown by bringing together hospitals, medical groups, and care providers who share a vision of better health care. Beyond patient care, we:

  • Support communities through free clinics and education programs.

  • Train future providers by partnering with schools and universities.

  • Champion sustainability by implementing green technologies.

  • Advocate for health care reform to improve accessibility and quality.

Governed by a community board of directors, we are dedicated to being a top employer and ensuring the best possible environment for both patients and caregivers.
