Work side-by-side with Allay's hospice professionals to provide compassionate care and support when it is needed most.
The primary duty of the Compassionate Companion is to be a comforting presence and good listener and/or provide assistance with non-medical tasks.
This hospice volunteer training includes a review of hospice philosophy, the role of the volunteer and other staff members, as well as helpful skills in caring for and communicating with hospice patients and their families.
