Do you enjoy making crafts? Do you want to volunteer from the comfort of your own home? Turn your hobby into healing by becoming a craft volunteer for hospice! Heartland Hospice needs more talented craft volunteers to donate items that will bring comfort to patients facing life-limiting illnesses. The sky's the limit when it comes to what you can donate, but some suggestions include: memory/comfort bears made out of loved one's clothing, crocheted or fleece lap blankets/shawls/slippers, full-size or decorative pillows, veterans-appreciation or patriotic items, stuffed animals (teddy bears), seasonal gifts or any other craft item that will brighten a patient's room.

Items can be dropped off at Heartland's business office in Milwaukee or we'll come to you. This is your chance to make a BIG difference without even leaving your doorstep! Please contact us if you're interested in donating handmade gifts of comfort to our hospice patients. We're waiting to hear from you!
