Volunteer Opportunities From: Volunteer Center of Washington County

Volunteer: Kitchen & Laundry Cleaner

Every animal deserves a clean bed to sleep on and a sanitary dish to eat out of. In this volunteer role you will play a huge and essential support role to our shelter by providing our animals the comfort of these necessities. Duties include washing bowls, washing/folding laundry and washing used litter boxes in the sink. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help animals from a distance or to ease their way into caring for animals directly!

Volunteers help for a period of 2-4 hours and typically the events are on Saturdays. Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and have a vehicle to be a community ambassador. If you have an outgoing personality and like conversing with new people, this might be just the fit for you!
