Volunteer Opportunities From: Volunteer Center of Washington County

We have a client who comes Tuesdays from 4:30-5 every Tuesday in our riding program who communicates via ASL. We would love to have a volunteer who can help us communicate with her during her lesson. 

Cedar Springs Therapeutic Ranch has about 11 acres that we need to take care of and with our busy schedule, we need help! Some of the various tasks we need help with are mucking paddocks, filling water buckets, feeding the animals, cutting grass, shoveling snow, picking rocks, weed management, cleaning our inside areas, maintaining the arena, organizing, and other jobs as well! We also need help keeping the indoor portion of our location clean, mud is a constant inside with all of the people in and out!  If this is something that you might be interested in please reach out, we really have an opportunity for everyone!

Cedar Springs Therapeutic Ranch is looking for volunteers to help with our equine assisted therapy sessions throughout the week. Our team is looking for those willing to work directly with our clients and our horses during sessions. Training will be provided and no experience is needed! Lessons run from 3PM-7PM Mondays-Thursdays with some additional hours on Tuesday mornings as well. Reach out today to get started and join our amazing team, you won't regret it!

Have you ever wanted to help an adopted or foster child but don't know where to begin? Start here, at The Ranch with our Stable Moments mentorship program where you will be paired with one child and one horse for a ground work (non-riding) session one hour per week.
