Preserving a Prairie Remnant

Expired

Description

The Greenbush Kettle Prairie survives as a remnant of our pre-European settlement times. Folks are needed to remove non-native plants and intruding woody species. Wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and sturdy shoes. Bring insect repellant, water bottle, and work gloves. Tools will be provided, but if you have a favorite pair of loppers, bring them along. There are no bathrooms nearby. Meet at the Shelter 5 parking lot located off Kettle Moraine Drive south of the Greenbush Recreation Area.
