Garlic Mustard is an invasive plant that’s taking over our woodlands. It crowds out our native wildflowers and endangers forests by preventing tree seedlings from growing. Join restoring lands staff and volunteers as we do a Garlic Mustard Pull-A-Thon at Kurtz Woods to remove this invasive species from our preserve! This is also our special volunteer event, Stew Crew Brews!! Enjoy coffee and breakfast treats, then help improve the preserve.
The Garlic Mustard Pull-A-Thon is an annual fundraiser put on by Sewisc. Young people and adults throughout Southeastern Wisconsin work to protect the woodlands of their neighborhoods by forming teams to pull this invasive plant. To learn more, please visit the Sewisc website here: www.sewisc.org/garlic-mustard-pull-a-thon
