Join Restoring Lands for a day of Community Science! Volunteer to help collect important scientific data about the plant and wildlife species that live on this preserve land. Staff will lead the team in tracking data on iNaturalist. Volunteers are encouraged to stay the whole time, but we can be flexible if people have to leave.
There will be a short break for lunch around noon. Some snacks and refreshments provided, but pack a lunch. There are no restrooms on the site. Come prepared with proper clothing and sun protection. Restoring Lands will share some of our equipment; binoculars, bug nets, field guides, and magnifying loops. Children under 14 are welcome to volunteer with supervision.
Location: County HWY Y, south of HWY 33, 43.409065,-88.040766
