Join us at Lakeshore Park for our 14th annual Sturgeonfest on September 28th from 11am until 3pm and enjoy a day of free, family fun and make a huge difference while doing it.
Sturgeon Fest celebrates Riveredge’s 25 year partnership with the Wisconsin DNR to bring back Lake Sturgeon, a critically important species both environmentally and culturally, to the Milwaukee River, where they haven’t been seen in over 100 years.
Be a part of this amazing comeback story and join thousands of other community members when you sponsor a young sturgeon and hand release them into Lake Michigan.
The festivities continue all day with games and activities for kids and adults alike, educational booths, delicious local food trucks, and so much more!
We are looking for people to help in the following areas:
- Event setup and tare down
- Parking attendants
- Info booth
- Registration
- Crowd control
- Attendance counters
