The Tower Heritage Center is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for a short-term, project-based role to help launch our highly anticipated Quarterly Postcard Program. If you enjoy hands-on tasks and want to connect with fellow community members while handling beautiful archival imagery, this is the perfect project for you.
Role Overview
Position: Postcard Fulfillment Volunteer (Temporary, Project-Based)
Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per quarter (flexible shifts available)
Location: In-person at 1889 Courthouse, 320 S. 5th Avenue
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Materials: Organize stacks of limited-edition historical postcards for distribution.
- Label & Stamp: Apply printed mailing labels and postage stamps accurately to each card.
- Sort for Mailing: Group completed postcards by zip code to prepare them for the post office.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure labels match correctly.
- Comfortable sitting or standing while performing repetitive, hands-on tasks.
- A reliable team player(s) who enjoys a collaborative group environment.
