FRIENDS, Inc. is looking for On-Call SANE Advocates to provide support to survivors of sexual assault.
When an individual has been sexually assaulted, they are encouraged to go to their local emergency room to have a Sexual Assault Nurse Exam (SANE) completed.
This volunteer opportunity offers support to victims of sexual assault at the time of their medical exam (SANE exam). The On-Call SANE Advocate is responsible for providing emotional support as needed and information about FRIENDS services and other community resources for victims and their families.
As an On-Call SANE Advocate you are required to sign up to cover 3+ weekends a year.
On-call schedules start Fridays at 4:30pm and end Sundays at 9:00pm, on call response time: 45 min.
Note: Advocate is responsible for being available during the weekend slots they signed up to cover, between the days and times stated above.

Froedtert West Bend Hospital
Aurora Medical Center Washington County
Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital
Aurora Grafton Medical Center
Training, orientation and support provided.
