Volunteer: Barn Clean Up DayEvery year, Rides and Reins has an annual Open House -- this year's Open House will be on Saturday, October 17 from 12-3pm. We need volunteers for the Open House but we also need volunteers to help us clean out the barn/farm and get it ready for visitors!
Barn Clean Up Day: Wednesday October 14, 1-4pm. Approx 8 volunteers needed. Duties include -- cleaning the feed room; sweeping out the barn; sanitizing the horses' waterers; wiping down windows; mopping floors. [We will not be doing manure pickup on this day and it is not one of the included tasks.] For more information, contact Renee Elias at 262-305-6273. Working with a lead volunteer instructor to learn various skills needed to serve our special needs riders in their therapy lessons. Opportunities to brush & groom, saddle with English or western tack, sidewalk next to horse & rider, etc. Need to be comfortable around horses & steady on your feet.
