The LOVE>hate Project

Origin: On July 15, 2013, 19 year old Jessie Blodgett was killed by a friend. At her funeral, her dad said “love is greater than hate”. A month later, hundreds gathered at a community vigil. The five words from the funeral were on signs, banners, and wristbands everywhere, then social media, then all the Milwaukee news channels. A project was born.

Our Mission: ENDing Interpersonal Violence. Promoting Forgiveness. Presencing Love.

Our Vision: Zero tolerance for interpersonal violence by the end of the century

experienced domestic and/or sexual violence themselves, as victims, before
