Who We Are
Mission: To promote the library’s resources, supporting and expanding its services and programs, assisting in maintaining and improving its facilities, and strengthening its relationship with the community.
The Friends of the West Bend Community Memorial Library is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization that actively supports the library through fundraising, advocacy, and event organization.
What We Do
- Fundraising: The Friends raise money through book sales, memberships, and donations to provide financial support for special library projects and improvements. These efforts help fund programs like children’s activities, summer reading initiatives, and guest speakers.
- Volunteer Support: Members of the Friends group volunteer their time and skills to assist with library events, staffing fundraising efforts, and maintaining the library’s resources.
- Advocacy: They work to promote awareness of the library’s importance to the West Bend community, advocating for its continued growth and resource expansion.
