Who We Are
Mission: To create and maintain affordable housing through partnerships to positively impact individuals, families, our community, and the environment.
Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. They assist families in constructing and improving homes, believing that affordable housing is crucial for strong and stable communities.
What We Do
- Home Construction and Repair: The organization builds new homes and offers critical home repairs for families in need, partnering with them to create safe and affordable living spaces.
- ReStore Operations: Habitat operates ReStores in West Bend, Beaver Dam, and Germantown, selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, and building materials at discounted prices. Proceeds from these stores support Habitat’s mission.
- Volunteer Engagement: The organization encourages community involvement through various volunteer opportunities, including construction projects, ReStore assistance, and committee participation.
- Community Events: Habitat hosts events like the annual GERMANfest in West Bend, featuring German food, music, and activities, to raise funds and foster community engagement.
