Who We Are
Mission: To build and sustain a 9/11 memorial to remember the victims, honor those who responded, celebrate the resilience of our communities and country, and educate future generations.
The Wisconsin 9/11 Memorial, opened in 2021, is a place of reflection, remembrance, and education, honoring those lost on September 11, 2001. Located in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, the memorial stands as a lasting tribute to the resilience, strength, and compassion of the American people. It serves as a space for visitors to honor the memories of those lost, gain a deeper understanding of the events of 9/11, and ensure that future generations never forget.
What We Do
We preserve the legacy of 9/11 through a permanent memorial and engaging students, educators, and community members. Our events provide historical context, honor first responders and victims, and inspire reflection on the impact of 9/11. Through community outreach and educational initiatives, we ensure that the lessons of that day continue to be shared for generations to come.
