Feb 16 & Mar 9: Think Outside Volunteer Training
Become a volunteer: Help get fourth-graders on the Trail.
Think Outside's goal is to get 11,000 fourth-graders graders out onto the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. This means we’re organizing lots of hikes with kids. If you’re a retired educator or someone who sincerely enjoys the delightful energy of 10-year-olds, join the fun!
We’re looking for individuals willing to assist teachers with leading hikes, especially as we book outings for Spring and Summer. Email Sarah at thinkoutside@iceagetrail.org to get your name on the list and stay in the loop.
We are hosting in-person and virtual volunteer trainings specific to Think Outside and working with kids:
-
Wednesday, February 16 (in-person): 9:00 a.m. – noon at Schmeeckle Reserve in Stevens Point, WI.
-
Wednesday, March 9 (virtual): 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. OR 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
