Welcome Spring Hike
West Bend Segment
March 26, 2022 @ 10:00 am
We will start the 2022 hiking season off on the northern part of the West Bend Segment. We will be seeking signs of spring such as robins singing, trees budding, and green vegetation starting to emerge.
LOCATION: Meet in the parking lot near Culver’s, on the north side of Highway 33 west of US 45, West Bend. Click here for driving directions. Watch for yellow “Ice Age Trail Event” signs.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: The hike will head north from Highway 33 to the Glacial Blue Hills parking lot. On the return trip, we will use some side trails for a change of scenery. The total hike distance will be 3.4 miles.
WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water, and traction devices could be helpful if there is still snow or ice on the ground.
HIKE LEADERS: Lisa DeLaney
