Donate Life Flag Raising Ceremony

A celebration, open to the community, will be held to honor those affected by organ and tissue donation.  Flag raising ceremonies will take place at the same time (1:08 p.m.) all across the country.  The exact time reflects the fact that one donor can save eight lives. The flag raising will take place in the library's Patrons' Park, weather permitting, otherwise the event will be held indoors. Join local organ recipients, donor's and their loved ones as we gather to speak and celebrate. Donate Life Wisconsin and the National Kidney Foundation are partners in this event and will also provide information resources.  Light refreshments will be served.
