The Volunteer Center is excited to announce that we have been selected as the recipient of the 2014 Thrivent Fish Fry! All money raised from this event will benefit our youth volunteer programming.
We need many volunteers to help make this event a success. Volunteers are needed for the following roles:
Volunteer Check-in - Record incoming helpers, provide nametags, and directions
Set Up - Set tables for dinner. Provide cream & water, salt & pepper, & comment sheets to each table
Ticket Sales - Sell tickets to walk-in guests and track sales
Greeters - Direct diners to serving line; help people with disabilities through the line
Errands - Help with miscellaneous tasks as needed
Barista - brew coffee, fill serving pots and deliver to tables
Runners - bring hot food from fryer to serving line
Servers - Take tickets, hand out plates and utensils, provide fish, chicken, fries & condiments
Kitchen - Fill coleslaw, tartar sauce & ketchup cups
Desserts - Slice & plate desserts
Take Out - Fill to-go orders
Clean Up Crew - Clear plates, wipe & prep tables for next guests, empty trash
Post Clean Up - Wash trays, clean kitchen & dining area
Times and shifts for each position vary, but volunteers are needed between 2 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. We will follow up with you to discuss roles and shift times.
By helping with the Thrivent Super Hero Fish Fry, you are helping Washington County Youth put on the cape!!
