Wednesday, September 24 is the United Way Day of Action. United Way agencies are hosting volunteer opportunities on this day to get the community active in celebration of the United Way campaign kickoff.
Family Promise of Washington County is looking for 8-10 volunteers to help finish painting the new "Promise Center" located at 724 Elm St. They will provide the paint and tools, just show up, pitch in and have fun!
Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch will be served.
