Keep grandma off that stepladder! Can you spare a couple of hours to give some of our senior friends a helping hand with spring yard cleaning? Raking, picking up sticks and winter debris, cleaning out flower beds--a little bit of help goes a long way!
Ages: 18 & up
What to bring: Work gloves, rakes, water, snacks, sunscreen and other comfort items. Dress for the weather!
8:30a.m. Event Kickoff – Volunteer Sign In at St. Aiden's Church (670 E. Monroe Ave in Hartford) & get your work location.
9a.m. – noon Work on project assignments
Work up an appetite! Free lunch is available at St. Aidan’s church at noon!
