What the Kettle Moraine Symphony Does:
The Kettle Moraine Symphony puts on 4-5 classical music concerts a season in the Southern
Kettle Moraine Area (West Bend, Jackson, Slinger). Season typically run from September-May.
Each concert entails contracting ~60-70 specifically skilled musicians, renting a facility,
advertising for the concert, and staffing the event.
General Manager: Runs the whole symphony
Volunteering in this role will prepare you with the experience needed to get into general
management at your for-pay job.
Is always communicating with our volunteers our appreciation of their time, and their
positive impact on our community.
Gently supports, coordinates, and provides feedback to Facilitates, Marketing, Finance,
and Personal teams’ volunteers - assuring tasks are completed in a timely fashion to the
concert goals.
Keeps a clear eye on P&L (profit and loss), and finds creative ways to stay within budget
In the case a volunteer role becomes unfilled, works to address with short and long term
solutions.
