Spruce Lake Bog State Natural Area protects one of the most southerly bogs in Wisconsin. Reed canary grass threatens this unique plant community and your help is needed to eradicate it. Wear long pants and shirt and water-proof footwear. Bring insect repellant, drinking water, and work gloves. Beware there is a lot of poison sumac in the work area. No bathrooms are located nearby. Meet at the Spruce Lake Bog parking lot located off Airport Road near County Road F west of Dundee.
