As an Admissions Attendant, you’ll welcome guests as they arrive and ensure everyone has valid entry. You’ll scan tickets, assist with bag checks, and help maintain a safe, smooth entry process for all fairgoers.
Key Responsibilities
-Greet guests with a smile as they enter the fairgrounds
-Scan tickets using handheld scanners or mobile devices
-Politely inspect bags and personal items for prohibited items (training provided)
-Provide basic directions or information as needed
-Help maintain organized and efficient entry lines
-Monitor entry points for safety and assist security staff as needed
-Work closely with ticketing and safety personnel
Requirements
-Friendly and respectful with strong communication skills
-Comfortable interacting with the public and checking bags in a professional manner
-Able to stand for extended periods outdoors
-Dependable and punctual
-Team-oriented and calm under pressure
