As a parking attendant at the Washington County Fair, you’ll direct traffic, and check parking passes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas efficiently and safely.
- Monitor parking lots to ensure compliance with fair regulations.
- Verify and collect parking passes from authorized vehicles, such as livestock exhibitors.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide directions as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately for any paid parking areas or services.
- Report any irregularities or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with the event operations team to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions.
- Prior experience in parking or event operations is a plus but not required.
