The Gingerbread House Christmas Gift Giving Program provides holiday cheer to families in need. This seasonal program through The Youth and Family Project has been warmly embraced by the entire community and has been incredibly successful in past years thanks to our incredible volunteers!
Volunteer tasks will be dependent on what our exact needs are at that time and will vary each day. Tasks may include helping set up, running gifts during drop off and pick up, organizing gifts, 'shopping' for gifts from general donations, and clean up.
Please note the following:
- By signing up for a 10:00 AM-6:00 PM shift, you are NOT required to stay for the entire duration of the shift. Volunteers should indicate the hours you are available to volunteer on your day of interest in the Notes/Comment section OR by email to gingerbread@youthandfamilyproject.org.
- Volunteers must be ages 14+.

Child Protection Policy: The Youth and Family Project, Inc. provides many services to vulnerable populations and recognizes that anyone may have the potential to abuse children in some way. The Youth and Family Project will take all reasonable steps to ensure unsuitable people are prevented from working with children. Prior to volunteer work, all prospective volunteers must complete an application form.
