Being a hospice volunteer is about giving your time and presence to others.  Whether through a gentle touch, a listening ear, or simple sitting quietly by someone's side, you become the steadfast support those facing end-of-life need.

Hospice volunteers engage in conversation, listen to stories, read books, newspapers, magazines or share stories.  Share a talent such as singing, crafting, playing board games or cards.  

While hospice encompasses end-of-life support, it also embraces the celebration of life in its purest form.  As a volunteer, you are gifted with witnessing awe-inspired moments of joy, laughter, and profound reflection while sharing stores, recreating cherished memories, or helping with meaningful activities. 

Being a hospice volunteer is a calling that allows you to provide empathy, allow yourself to be vulnerable, and embrace the stories of each individual as they celebrate t heir life journey.
