Who We Are
Mission: To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Our organization is made up of thousands of officers, soldiers, adherents, employees, volunteers and other individuals all working together to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, as well as working to meet the physical needs of those less fortunate. The Salvation Army is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
What We Do
The Salvation Army Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Division is the administrative unit which provides services to people in need in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Our funding is raised by our annual Red Kettle Campaign. We provide rent, utility, emergency lodging and transportation assistance along with several special projects to needy people in Washington County.
