Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County

Mission: To connect seniors with caring volunteers to ensure that they are able to maintain independence.
Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is a community-based non profit organization which helps seniors in the county remain independent. We have been a part of the community since 2005. We pride ourselves on the strength of a Board of Directors who guide our direction, the many caring volunteers who serve, and a staff that connects all the pieces!
Our vision is that all Washington County seniors will have access to the resources necessary to maintain independence.
Our volunteers provide “good neighbor” assistance to seniors, including:
Transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping.
Companionship through in-home and phone visits.
Kindness Crews that share meals and social time.
Seasonal yard work like raking, lawn care, and snow removal.
Food delivery for pantry clients and Meals on Wheels in Germantown.
Community service days for organizations wanting to give back.
We also operate h.e.l.p. Corner, a volunteer-run program that loans durable medical equipment like wheelchairs, crutches, and shower chairs for a small deposit. With locations in West Bend and Hartford, we ensure essential resources are available to those in need.
Join Us! Volunteer and help seniors live independently while making a meaningful impact.
