Building a strong board and putting succession plans in place are two of the biggest issues nonprofits are facing today. This session will provide resources to help your organization build and active and engaged board, and will look closely at the tough issues organizations face when planning for succession.
Part of having a strong and healthy board is valuing diversity and equity. One portion of the workshop will discuss how to move towards the goal of an organization that 'looks like' the community populations you serve.
