Help community members get to know our nonprofit partners by volunteering at our Taste & Learn, NP Fairs! Each month there will be a variety of nonprofits with similar causes in attendance to share their mission & possibly recruit volunteers. The Volunteer Center will provide snacks & beverages at each station, tote bags for all attendees, and surveys to request feedback.
As a multi-purpose helper, you will be a significant asset to us in ensuring smooth flow. You will not be assigned to any specific station, but rather can move from one to another, depending on where help is needed at the moment.
We’d ask that you help make sure each nonprofit has enough food or beverage samples to hand out to guests.
You will also help with ensuring a clean environment by picking up loose garbage, etc.
We’ll ask that you hand a survey to the Nonprofit staff and ask them to turn it in as they leave.
If you notice guests are leaving, kindly ask them to turn in the check off card and guest survey.
Pens/Pencils and a tote for turning in the check off card and survey will be on the table
Additionally, your task will be to help us clean up after the event, whether that be taking down or wiping down tables, rearranging the space, organizing, etc.
Time Slot: 8:30 am-1:00 pm
