Road Crossing volunteers are needed for this event, not to stop traffic but to stop runners/walkers until it is safe to cross the road. There are three different places on the Eisenbahn Trail where this volunteer position is needed for the event. As we have a pretty steady amount of people coming through this position definitely makes time go by quickly and is so important in keeping our participants safe.
More information will be provided by race director prior to the event to make everyone comfortable with their role and where they should be on the trail.
This position is needed for the full event but it's a great way to see all the runners and walkers accomplishing their goals!
