Water Station Volunteers are an essential part of the Adrenaline Race, providing water, sports drinks, and enthusiastic encouragement to participants throughout the course.
Your energy can make all the difference for someone pushing toward the finish line. Volunteer groups are especially encouraged to sign up together.
Start and end times may vary depending on your assigned water station location.
Volunteer Details Shift: Approximately 7:30 a.m. – 01:00 p.m. CDT (times vary by location)
Location: Trail & Century Drive Use W2570 Century for GPS
Responsibilities:
- Set up the water station before runners arrive.
- Fill cups halfway with water or sports drink and keep supplies stocked throughout the race.
- Hand water and sports drinks to runners while calling out what is available.
- Refill coolers with water, sports drink, and ice as needed.
- Place and monitor trash cans to help keep the course clean.
- Cheer on runners and create a fun, encouraging atmosphere.
- Clean up the station after the final runners have passed by collecting cups, removing garbage bags, and packing unused supplies back into the water station bin. Please leave any remaining beverage jugs for race staff to use at the finish line.
