Help turn the Washington County Historical Society (The Old Courthouse Museum) into an amazing piece of public fiber art! The YARN BOMB will hit in May and crafty volunteers like you are needed to make it happen.
We'll be hosting a knit-in at the Volunteer Center on Thursday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to Noon. Bring your knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn and a friend and prepare to get those fingers moving! Museum Curator Janean Mollett-Van Beckum will be on hand to teach us more about the project.
Coffee and cookies will be provided! We also have yarn available if needed.
While most yarn bombs are knit or crocheted, ANY type of fiber art is welcome. If you sew or quilt still come to learn more about the ways you can incorporate your craft into the piece.
