Help us pull off our annual fundraiser! Each year, Blue Lotus hosts a fundraiser that features food, drink, raffle baskets, a silent auction, activities and live music - each year offering a new theme. This year's event, the Rhythm & Blues Lotus, will feature a soulful, Motown flavor.
Proceeds from the event will go towards a capital project to build a Welcome Center at Blue Lotus to house staff offices and meeting space, allowing us to better serve the Washington County community!
Many volunteers are needed to make this event successful. Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
1. Greeter/Check In - welcome guests, register guests at the door, direct guests to different areas of the event.
2. Silent Auction & Raffle Managers - be available to guests if they have questions on items, and encourage bidding. Also responsible for selecting winners of both raffle & auction and posting winners.
3. Kitchen - prep food, running food out to buffet line
4. Servers - serve guests food, dispense beverages
5. Activity Leader - facilitate games to interested guests
6. Grounds Clean Up - gather all trash and recycling, break down tables and chairs and put away,
7. Kitchen & Pavilion Clean Up - wash and put away all dishes, package left overs, clean floors and tables used for prep
Time & shifts will vary, but volunteers are needed from approximately 2pm until 9:30pm. All volunteers will receive complimentary admission to the event. Contact us today to learn more!
