Work-Play-Earth Day spring clean-up at Kettle Moraine State Forest – Pike Lake Unit
Volunteers needed who have kayaking skills to help cruise the Pike Lake east shoreline and remove debris in areas inaccessible by foot. Bring your own kayak or 8 kayaks will be available.
Don’t let our ducks and other wildlife ingest or get tangled up in the junk that has blown in over the winter. Aluminum cans, plastic of all sorts, Styrofoam bits, scrap paper, cigarette butts and the occasional rubber boot are not only an assault on our esthetic sensibilities, but create extreme hazards for wildlife as well.
