Work-Play-Earth Day spring clean-up at Kettle Moraine State Forest – Pike Lake Unit
Volunteer now to enjoy a morning of connecting with nature at Pike Lake while improving wildlife habitat and getting the park ready for summer visitors!
This event begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon. Bring your own work gloves. All other supplies will be provided.
Opportunities include:
1. Raking out 3 walk-in campsites.
2. Picking up litter along roadways.
3. Removing sticks and branches in picnic areas.
4. Pulling cut honeysuckle and stacking in piles to improve songbird habitat.
Bring the whole family for a day of fun, learning and the satisfaction of giving through volunteering together.
